Wisconsin’s proud farming heritage at its peak boasted over 200,000 small farms, and though that number has been greatly diminished over the years, that pride remains and can be seen throughout Wisconsin’s beautiful countryside. Wisconsin was and is also home to one of America’s strongest industrial centers, with its proximity to the Great Lakes and many inland lakes and rivers.
The evolution of modern farming practices, pressure of economic constraints, and the modernization of industrial facilities have led to a scenario where Wisconsin’s reclaimed lumber supply is not only abundant, but also rich in history and character.
Wisconsin Reclamation Project makes great efforts to capture that history and exercise the character representative of the state of Wisconsin and beyond by embracing sustainability and socially responsible practices in its day to day operations. Mitigating waste, assisting clients with maximizing efficiency, and focusing on quality, are just a few core principles that set WRP apart from its competitors.
